Cancellation & refund policy
Customers pay for a booking in two parts, both online: a 25% advance when they book, and the 75% balance once the shoot has started. A booking can only be cancelled before the shoot starts, so a cancellation refund applies to the advance. This policy explains when that money is refunded.
Cancelling a booking
| When | Refund |
|---|---|
| Before you've paid | Nothing was charged. Cancel any time from your booking. |
| After paying the advance, before your photographer sets off (booking shows “Confirmed”) | 100% of the advance refunded |
| After your photographer has set off (booking shows “On the way”) | 50% of the advance refunded — the rest compensates the photographer for their time and travel |
| Once the shoot has started | The booking can't be cancelled in the app. Contact us if something went wrong. |
When you always get a full refund
- The photographer cancels the booking, or doesn't turn up — everything you've paid is refunded.
- You were charged twice for the same booking — the extra payment is refunded in full.
- Your payment went through after the booking had already been cancelled.
Problems with a shoot
If the shoot didn't happen as agreed, or the photos weren't delivered, write to snappro.support@gmail.com within 7 days with your booking reference. We'll look at the booking and chat history and may offer a full or partial refund.
How refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the same account, card or UPI ID you paid from. We can't refund to a different account.
- We start the refund within 2 working days of the cancellation (or of our decision, for problems with a shoot).
- Once started, refunds usually reach you in 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.
- Your booking in the app shows when a refund is in progress and when it's done.
Failed payments
If money left your account but the payment failed, your bank reverses it automatically, usually within 5–7 working days. You don't need to cancel anything. If it hasn't arrived after 7 working days, write to us.
Photographers
When a booking is refunded, the photographer isn't paid for it (or is paid the part that isn't refunded, for late cancellations).
